TFH provides temporary fencing systems for a variety of different events. These include parties, sports, carnivals, concerts, festivals, exhibitions etc.

Case Studies

V8 Supercars - Townsville 400

The 2009 Townsville 400 is the inaugural running of this race. The first time a major motorsport has been held in north Queensland, the race has been assembled around a specially created street circuit, as no permanent racing facilities exist in North Queensland.

TFH was approached by IEDM, who required the supply of a complete temporary fencing system for the Townsville 400.

The task took a total of four weeks to install and two weeks to dismantle .

Fence Stock Used

• 9.8 km of Temporary Mesh Fencing
• 3.65 km of Shade Cloth
• 4.2 km of Crowd Control Barriers
• 600 metres squared of Event Flooring

Super GP ( Formally Indy Grand Prix )

The Gold Coast Super GP turns Surfers Paradise into a race track for four days only. Part of the A1 Grand Prix World Cup of Motorsport and the Australian V8 Supercar Series, this carnival of racing replaces the Indy 300.

IEDM required TFH to supply the following amount of stock for the event.

Fence Stock Used

• 18.5 km of Temporary Mesh Fencing
• 1.2 km of Shade Cloth
• 7.5 km of Crowd Control Barriers

In total it took five weeks to install and two weeks to dismantle

Splendour In The Grass ( Byron Bay )

Splendour in the Grass is an annual music festival held in July at Belongil Fields, outside Byron Bay, New South Wales, Australia.

The 2008 festival was attended by 17,500 people over two days, with 2,500 campers

It took two weeks to install and one week to dismantle
